The centerpiece of Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas, the Viva Vision canopy is the world’s largest single video screen, spanning five city blocks with dazzling, high-resolution imagery and a state-of-the-art, 600,000-watt, concert-quality sound system. Each show features music from iconic Vegas musicians like The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, and more. The newest show to hit the screen is “MIXology,” a groundbreaking concept inspired by “synesthesia,” a perceptual phenomenon where music, art and emotion collide to create an immersive, multi-sensory experience on a grand scale. Shows start at the top of the hour, nightly, from 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS SIGN

If you go to Vegas and don’t take a photo at the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, did you even really go to Vegas? SEVEN MAGIC MOUNTAINS

Speaking of Instagram-worthy, do not forget to check out Seven Magic Mountains located in the dessert in Jean, just 10 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.  Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s installation is comprised of seven stacks of colorful, vibrant boulder, each more than thirty feet tall. BELLAGIO CONSERVATORY

Every season, the conservatory at Bellagio creates one-of-a-kind horticulture masterpieces that tell breathtaking stories through stunning floral visuals that draw thousands of locals and tourists to take in the beautiful scenery. One of the most popular free things to do on the Vegas Strip, stop into the luxury resort to see the current installation, “Eco: A season of Earthly Awareness.” Comprised of more than 30,000 flowers and the plants, the gardens represent earth, wind, water, and fire to create an exquisite rainforest made of bold and vibrant colors.   

BELLAGIO FOUNTAINS

Closing out our list of free things to do in Vegas is the iconic Bellagio Fountain show which is a must-see for anyone looking for free things to see in Vegas. No trip to Vegas is complete without seeing these magical dancing fountains, and best of all, it won’t cost you a dime! Take in the views from Las Vegas Blvd and enjoy the dazzling sight of water swaying and twirling to synchronized music. The Bellagio Fountains take place every 30 minutes, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. On weekends and holidays, the fountains begin every 30 minutes from 12 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. to midnight.
